PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

The City of Pine Forest received a Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program Grant, Contract No: 24-067-010-E197, from the Texas General Land Office for the construction of water facilities improvements.  A public hearing has been called for 5:45 PM on 8 April, 2024, at Pine Forest City Hall, 305 Nagel Street, Vidor, Texas 77662 to discuss changes to the project scope identified in the contract performance statement.  The public hearing will include an explanation of the proposed changes to the project scope and invite comments.

 

La ciudad de Pine Forest recibió una subvención del Programa de Recuperación de Desastres para el Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG-DR), Contrato No: 24-067-010-E197, de la Oficina General de Tierras de Texas para la construcción de mejoras a las instalaciones de agua. Se convocó una audiencia pública para las 5:45 p. m. del 8 de abril de 2024 en el Ayuntamiento de Pine Forest, 305 Nagel Street, Vidor, Texas 77662 para discutir los cambios en el alcance del proyecto identificados en la declaración de desempeño del contrato. La audiencia pública incluirá una explicación de los cambios propuestos al alcance del proyecto y solicitará comentarios.

CDBG-DR 2018/2019 Floods

Performance Statement Change Request

 

The City of Pine Forest 2018/2019 Floods CDBG-DR performance statement change request is now available for review at City Hall, 305 Nagel St., Pine Forest, TX 77662 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  The City encourages citizens to participate with the change request of the approved project (GLO Contract Number: 24-067-010-E197) and to make their views known by presenting their opinions, comments, and suggestions to Cathy Nagel, City Mayor, City Hall, 305 Nagel St., Pine Forest, TX 77662, during regular business hours. We are looking for an individual who needs to keep their license active with TCOLE and understands that this is not a paid position. Applicant must be up to date on all current TCOLE training. Applicant must provide the City with a minimum of 15 hours a week patrol, provide monthly patrol logs, and must attend monthly & special council meetings & other city events. TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

The City of Pine Forest is giving notice of the city’s intent to submit a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program grant application for a Community Development Fund grant request of up to $500,000 for a street improvement project in the City of Pine Forest. The application is available for review at the Pine Forest City Hall during regular business hours.

La Ciudad de Pine Forest está notificando la intención de la ciudad de presentar una solicitud de subvención del Programa de Subvención en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario de Texas para una solicitud de subvención del Fondo de Desarrollo Comunitario de hasta $500,000 para un proyecto de mejora de calles en la Ciudad de Pine Forest. La solicitud está disponible para su revisión en el Ayuntamiento de Pine Forest durante el horario comercial regular.

The City will comply with the Civil Rights requirements of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act and the Fair Housing Law and ensure that equal opportunities are afforded to all persons and that no person shall be excluded or denied program benefits on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, and national origin. POLICY OF NONDISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF DISABILITY

City of Pine Forest does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its federally assisted programs or activities. Cathy Nagel, Mayor of the City of Pine Forest, has been designated to coordinate compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements contained in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations implementing Section 504 (24 CFR Part 8. Date June, 1988).

 

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION & GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES NOTICE

FOR THE GLO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT-DISASTER RECOVERY PROGRAM

City of Pine Forest has adopted complaint and grievance procedures regarding its Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program. Citizens may obtain a Copy of these written procedures from the Mayor, Cathy Nagel at the City of Pine Forest City Hall located at 305 Nagel Street, Vidor, Texas 77662, or by calling (409) 786-4100, during regular business hours. These procedures outline the steps for a citizen to follow if he/she wishes to file a complaint or grievance about GLO CDBG-DR activities. A person who has a complaint or grievance about any services or activities with respect to the GLO CDBG-DR project may, during regular business hours, submit such complaint or grievance, in writing to Cathy Nagel at the City of Pine Forest.
